This website uses local storage to remember notice and newsletter choices. Local storage stays in your browser and differs from cookies, which can be sent with website requests. No advertising or analytics scripts are installed by this site.
Choices saved on your device
- nsa-cookie-consent: remembers that you acknowledged the notice.
- nsa-newsletter-modal-dismissed: remembers that the newsletter popup has been shown or closed, so it does not appear again.
- nsa-newsletter-submitted: older versions saved this flag after a form submission. It is no longer used to hide the signup form.
These entries contain simple flags, not your email address or message. They are not sent to me. They remain until you clear the site's browser storage. Choices apply to the same browser and website address; another device or the change from the testing domain to the live domain has separate storage. If storage is blocked, choices may not persist. The footer signup form remains available if you need to retry. Only Mailchimp can confirm your subscription.
Security services
Cloudflare hosts this site and Turnstile protects the contact form. Security cookies or browser signals may be used depending on Cloudflare's configuration. These checks prevent automated abuse. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy information. Blocking security functionality may prevent the contact form from working; you can email me instead.
Other websites
Newsletter submission opens Mailchimp's website. Mailchimp, social platforms and other websites linked here operate under their own privacy and cookie policies. Their behaviour is separate from the preferences saved on this site.
Managing your choices
Use your browser's site-data controls to remove saved choices. The notice acknowledgement is informational and is separate from requesting newsletter emails. Read the Privacy Policy for information about enquiries and subscriptions.
